RESOURCES
The Elements of Art and Principles of Design are important for several reasons. First, and most importantly, a person can't create art without utilizing at least a few of them. Secondly, knowing what the elements of art are enables us to: describe what an artist has done; analyze what is going on in a particular piece and to communicate our thoughts and findings using a common language. Click the image open presentation. For further descriptions of the elements, visit the Elements of Art tab.
Use P.R.E.P.A.R.E. to start ALL your projects. The first 6 steps should be done in your SKETCHBOOK efficiently in less than two classes. Click the image open presentation.
